Recipe for Vegetable Pizza
This pizza is so quick and easy to make, it can never go wrong. It takes a few minutes to prepare the ingredients and 20 minutes to bake, the pizza is ready to serve in less than 45 minutes.
Ingredients for Pizza Base:
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 2 tablespoons plain yoghurt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- ½ garlic clove, chopped
- ¾ cup grated mozzarella cheese
- ¼ red capsicum, sliced
- 4 button mushroom, sliced
- 10-15 kalamata olives, pitted
- ½ a broccoli
- a few leaves fresh basil
- ¼ red onion
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
Preheat oven to 200ºC. Grease a 30cm pizza tray.
Mix the flour, oil, yoghurt and water in a bowl and mix into a soft dough.
Roll out the dough to the size of the pizza tray.
Spread tomato paste on the dough. Sprinkle with garlic and half of the cheese. Add the vegetables evenly on top.
Add in remaining cheese.
Bake the pizza in the oven for around 20 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked and the crust is light brown.
Remove pizza from the oven. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.
